Will Countries Impose Covid-19 Vaccine On Travelers?

It seems that many countries in Europe have already managed the Covid-19 situation, right? However, many are actually expecting a blow up. In fact, not until a vaccine is found, traveling is likely to be a challenging process. Furthermore, regardless of wether you believe in conspiracy theories about vaccines or not, some countries will impose them for VISA purposes. So, where will you still be able to go without a vaccine? and which countries are imposing a Covid-19 vaccine on travelers?

Schengen Countries

Obtaining a Schengen VISA for European Union countries is not extremely complicated. However, depending on where you are from, the procedure changes from a geographical area to another. That being said, most European countries are reopening their borders this summer. Austria, Spain, Portugal, France, Greece etc…

Moreover, the European Union is evaluating the idea of imposing a covid-19 vaccine among VISA requirements. So, if you are skeptical about the idea of getting the Covid-19 vaccine, (when available) then you may need to reconsider your vacation destinations. As for the meantime, all these countries remain an option this summer, although most of them will provide tests at airports for visitors to guarantee maximum safety.

Cyprus

This little beauty on the Mediterranean is known for being a top holiday spot, in addition to being quite cheap. Cyprus’ authorities announced borders reopening starting June 9th. However, they also announced that ”upon arrival, travellers will have to show a negative Coronavirus test, taken in the previous 72 hours, to get in.”

Australia

Australia is learning fast from its neighbor New Zealand. Covid-19 cases are slowly falling down, and the Australian government is starting to lift closed borders. Although there are still no official statements regarding the matter, it’s highly probable that the country will also impose testing, and then a vaccine when possible, on anyone coming in to Australia.

Morocco

On the African side, Morocco is one of the most visited destinations in the continent. Being a gate to Europe from one side, and to Africa from another side, Morocco is undoubtedly an interesting destination. Moreover, the government announced the extension of the emergency state until August, and have no plans to reopen borders right now. Even more, Moroccan Minister Nasser Bourita is planning on imposing a 9-day quarantine and two negative covid-19 tests for travelers wishing to enter the country.

This summer we can all agree that traveling will be different. However, with the right precautions, we can still go-ahead with our vacation plans. As for many people, enjoying the summer vacation is all about enjoying the beach, and spending some quality family time. However, anyone who had to go on a family vacation had experienced a breakdown before. In fact, it’s anything but easy managing many people, especially if everyone is independent and used to live on their own. In order to have a successful family vacation/trip this summer, here are few tips to help you survive and have fun at the same time.

Plan Ahead

Wether you are planning your trip with young children, or your adult ones. Planning ahead is key for the sake of everyone. Furthermore, to avoid those ”useless” discussions about where to eat, what to see, how to get there etc… It’s already hard enough to get everyone to agree on one thing, so it’s better to get organized way before. In addition, planning ahead can even save you some dollars on reservations, transport and even help you control your spendings.

Discuss The Best Travel Options

What’s the best option for all travelers? Besides choosing the cheapest option, you need to keep in mind choosing the best one, too. Taking children on a long road-trip may not be that fun after all. Or, will it be easier to fly in separately or all together. If you are part of a big family, than you really need to evaluate all your options. I mean, we’ve all seen what happened to poor Kevin…

Pack Lots of Snacks and Water

I can’t emphasize this enough. Even if it’s a short trip, pack lots of snacks and water. When my sisters and I were younger, our parents took us on a road trip across Europe. It was definitely an amazing experience, but we would’ve saved a lot more time and money if we had packed enough snacks and water. In fact, if you are going on a road-trip, it could be nice if you prepare some games to play on the road, take some pillows to stay comfortable, and a portable charger to avoid all kinds of ‘‘sibling fights.” (I wish those existed when we went to Europe.)

You Don’t Have To Do Everything Together

Finally, a major tip for a successful family vacation this summer, is accepting differences. Yes, even as a family you don’t have to do everything together. Your teenage girl wants to go shopping but you want to tan, great! Your kid wants to stay home and watch tv? perfect! Do not make the family trip about staying together 24/7. At the end, you all will end up clashing, which is totally normal if you haven’t been living together for a while.

Even long before Coronavirus hit the world, traveling the world is considered a luxury, because it’s quite expensive. Wether you study or work there, it’s often hard to save up money. Asian countries remain on top of the cheapest countries. However, there are some destinations in Europe and Central America that are quite affordable. So, if you are looking for a cheap escape, here is our list of 4 countries where you can live for under 500€ per month.

Thailand

Although this precious country is getting more expensive everyday, it’s still relatively cheap in terms of cost of living. In several parts of the country, especially in Chiang Mai, you can find apartments for 150-200€ a month. In addition, street food and alimentation in general cost only few bucks in Thailand. In fact, you may even be able to save up and afford some traveling to explore.

Czech Republic

This Central-European gem is one of the most underrated countries in the world. Known for the vibrant night style and party life, the Czech Republic is also home to so much history and nature. And yes, you can live for under 500€ there. In addition, since they are located in the heart of Europe, you can travel for fairly cheap between EU countries.

Philippines

If you ever get the chance to visit the Philippines, then be sure that you will fall in love. It’s surrounded by stunning picturesque nature. Better yet, this country holds a large reservoir or turquoise waters and forests. And to top it all off, it’s one of the cheapest countries in Asia as well. Expect to spend less than 100 bucks on tobacco, alcohol and food. In some parts, you can rent a two floors-home for less than 300€/month.

Costa Rica

Away from Europe and Asia, Costa Rica in central/south America is a destination that still preserves its authentic vibe. Surrounded by crystal blue beaches, and islands, you can easily turn your vacay into a lifestyle for under 500€/ month. For example, in the capital San Jose, a house of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a garage and other comforts may range from 200 to 400€ only.
