Visit The Ceiba Tree To Make Your Wishes Come True

One of the most popular local traditions every November 16th is to gather at the ceiba tree that is located in front of El Templete. This spot is designated as where Havana was originally founded 500 years ago. Additionally, the locals believe that the spirits of their ancestors live here. Also, at this spot people walk in a counterclockwise direction around the tree three times and make a wish. Despite it only being a superstition, you can join in the tradition starting at 6pm.
